Art Film was founded in 1997 in Tirana, Albania by the acclaimed director and producer Artan Minarolli. Art Film produced THE DELEGATION (2018), winner of the Grand Prix at the Warsaw International Film Festival and the Trieste Award – Jury price for the Best Feature Film in competition. In 2009 it produced the feature Alive (2009) which was awarded at the Montpellier Film Festival and Belgrade International Film Festival. Its first Albanian-French co-production, The Moonless Night (2004), won the Best Film Award in the Med-Film Festival, Italy and Best Film Award in Trenton Film Festival, USA.
