Executive Producer

Emir Turkeshi Gramo

After graduating from the Tirana Academy of Fine Arts, Emir Gramo started working in the Albanian film industry as a costume designer. Her first feature film was THE MOONLESS NIGHT by Artan Minarolli, which went on to win the Trenton Intl Film Festival.

Emir worked as costume designer on several short and feature films in Albania before being hired by acclaimed US director Joshua Marston for THE FORGIVENESS OF BLOOD, winner of the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay at the Berlin Intl Film Festival.

After producer/director Artan Minarolli, a close relative, passed away, Emir inherited Artan’s company, Art Film Productions, and decided to focus on producing. Artan’s original project,THE DELEGATION, became Emir’s first international co-production. She hired Albanian director Bujar Alimani, finished the film and brought home both the Grand Prix from the Warsaw Intl Film Festival as well as the Award for Best Feature from the Trieste Intl Film Festival.

Recently, Emir has teamed up with Albanian Director Gentian Koci, heading both the costume & production design departments on his latest production, A CUP OF COFFEE AND NEW SHOES ON.
